Pop Pilates – The Home Workout That Almost Killed Us




It’s January and losing weight is at the back of everyones mind. After all the over indulging we did at Christmas its only human – we eat what we want over Christmas because we know we’ll put the work in in January right? Well, thats our mentality anyway.

With everyones wallets still empty from Christmas we thought we would explore the wonders that are home workouts and all we can say is ouch, they hurt! – We almost died!

Pop Pilates

On Youtube, we found endless lists of home workouts; you could easily do a different workout everyday for the rest of your life – theres that many.

One we particularly enjoyed is Pop Pilates by youtube channel Blogilates – “Full length POP Pilates and fun Bootcamp Sculpting workouts to Top 40 Hits with certified fitness instructor Cassey Ho”

Below is one of Casey’s videos that almost killed us – 7 minutes in we already had to pause it 3 times and the burn was felt for a good few days after, stairs were a huge challenge to us.

There are a ton of different videos to try on the channel, doing 3 videos a week will give you epic results and before you know it you will be hooked to working out at home like us. After being at work all day, the last thing you feel like doing is getting ready and going to the gym.

Guys, don’t be put off thinking that Pilates is just for girls. Try it and we guarantee you will have drastically underestimated how hard, but effective these work outs are. For example, some of the Ab exercise’s in the videos are worth 6 normal crutches and you’ll be shaking by the end of it.
