Baxter Of California’s Facial Scrub Product Review; Thumbs Up From Us

Baxter of California face scrub

We recently tried Baxter Of California’s Facial Scrub, a product which we thoroughly recommend. Containing cornmeal, walnut shell powder and chamomile, it is a great exfoliating scrub for men.

Baxter of California's facial scrub

We’re expecting to hear a lot more from Baxter of California in 2019 – simply because their products are so great! We already can’t wait to trial out the rest of their skincare and male grooming range.

The facial scrub buffs away impurities and dead skin cells and stimulates skin renewal – but the best thing about it? It doesn’t leave you skin looking red raw like most other facial scrubs on the male grooming market. Believe us when we say we’ve been left red-faced before.

A base of natural ingredients are always preferred over artificial chemicals, so the fact that the scrub contains honey and lavender is really appealing – these ingredients are great for toning and exfoliating skin, leaving it feeling fresh and really smooth – believe us when we say smooth!

How Often Should I Use a Face Scrub?

Ideally, you don’t want to be using a face scrub everyday. Using a face scrub regularly can lead to excess oil production and an irritated, reddish complexion.

We recommend using a face scrub a maximum of 2-3 times a week, preferably trying to incorporate the product into your shaving routine. Use the Baxter of California facial scrub before shaving to prevent ingrowing hair and to achieve a closer, smoother shave.

Baxter of California have their own site where you can purchase their facial scrub (click here to view) for $17. UK customers can pick it up from Amazon for £18 or Mankind for £19. Believe us when we say it’s worth every penny!

If you think our positive review is too good to be true, then read the online reviews for added confidence. 41 customers have given the scrub 5*s on Amazon, click here to read the review yourself.

Baxter’s Of California’s Range Of Products

Baxter of California’s hair styling range looks pretty epic too, check it out here. They literally have a product for every type of hair and hairstyle; from a light hold to a firm hold or a natural to shine finish. Whats even better is that they have videos on their site helping you to achieve the hairstyle you want with the different products that they offer.

Baxter of California's candleOutside the Box

Baxter of California even have their own range of candles targeted at men. This is something we’ve never seen before from a grooming brand. Its a nice extra and sounds like they really understand what men need and want – manly candles are hard to come across.

If you’ve tried out Baxter Of California’s Facial Scrub or use it regularly then leave a comment in the comments section below and let us know how you got on and what you thought.
