Brivon & Vitahar Hair Loss Treatment Scam Exposed

Brivon and Vitahar are all over the internet at the moment, a sign that the brands can be trusted right? Wrong! It turns out that the well advertised ‘hair loss treatments’ are in fact, a ploy to rob you of your hard-earned cash.

Brivon & Vitahar – Is It A Scam?

Brivon and Vitahar claim that their products are the best hair loss treatments around at the moment. Having “worked” for celebrities such as Piers Morgan and Louis Walsh – taking them from thin, receding hair to a full, thick head of hair.

Brivon claim to not just prevent the thinning of hair but also to reverse signs of hair loss all together – a strong statement to make, but is it true? Or are Brivon and Vitahar just benefiting on people’s hopes and dreams?

If you want a quick answer to whether Brivon or Vitahar is a scam, then just scroll down to the comments section and see peoples unfortunate experiences with the “miracle hair loss treatment”.

Brivon Hair Loss Treatment

Brivon is a hair loss shampoo that can supposedly reverse the signs of hair loss in both men and woman, preventing future hair loss too with frequent use.

Brivon claim that celebrities such a Piers Morgan and Louis Walsh are walking proof that Brivon is the ‘next best hair loss treatment’ and that you need to  purchase the hair loss treatments right now!

Brivon’s Website buybrivon (which has ironically been taken down) claims to Reverse Hairloss if you Start Treatment Now”.

People are taking to online forums to review their experience when subscribing to the 14-day ‘free’ trial to express their frustration. Brivon have been advertising a 14-day free trial, giving you a free bottle (RRP &80) when you pay the £3.95 postage.

However, people have been claiming that money has been taken from their accounts for the full price of the bottle, some seeing up to £80 being taken from their account when they were expecting no payment to be taken at all.

“Please people, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Brivon & Vitahar are a scam” says one comment.

What Makes Brivon A Scam?

Brivon are justifying taking people’s money, despite advertising a free months subscription, by claiming the subscription needs to be cancelled within the first 14 days. But they are catching people out by not getting the products to them in time to cancel within the first 14 days.

“My order arrived 18 days after placing so even if it was a 14 day trial I could not adhere to their T&Cs. They are meant to ship in 24hrs but it was 8 days in my case” says one review.

Other review’s state “one person who did cancel with Brivon the very next day after ordering has been refused a refund following the order arriving 3 weeks later”.

So it seems that Brivon are going to take your money regardless of cancelling within the free trial, so trust the reviews and don’t fall victim to the scam.

Where To Buy Brivon’s & Vitahar’s Hairloss Products?

The product itself doesn’t appear to be stocked in any major retailers – a classic sign that the products aren’t genuine. If the products were as good as the manufactures claim then retailers would be stocking them, simple as that.

Seeing a product being sold on websites such as amazon, boots or any other large health & beauty retailer can be a massive confidence boost that the product is genuine. The only retailers we can find that seem to be selling Brivon or Vitahar are well, nowhere!

In fact, the only place we can find the products being sold are on Gumtree where people are trying to sell on their unused and unwanted products because they fell victim to the scam.

With this in mind, we wouldn’t recommend buying the product or even subscribing to the free trial at all.  Reviews are sayings its a scam and begging you not to fall victim to it, we are yet to see a post where someone is happy with the product and the product is only sold on their website – which has now ironically been taken down, but we are sure another will pop up at some point.

Too Late For You?

We understand, and know from the comments section, that there is going to be a high proportion of readers who have already been affected by the Brivon and Vitahar hair loss treatment scam. If it is then call your bank straight away to get all future payments stopped and blocked. Even cancel your card if you need to.

As you may have read from the amount of comments on this post, they will continue to take payments from your account until you go out your way to stop them. Your bank will then be able to advise you on what you should do next.

  1. Fell for the same scam can’t contact them took my money, early for both products, cancelled all my accounts to ensure they can’t retake any further amounts. How do they manage to get away with it.

    • Thanks for your message and sorry to hear about your experience. No idea how they’ve managed to trick so many people but we’re sure they will get what they deserve! We wrote the article to try and stop people falling victim to it and it seems to be very popular.

      • Sorry Groommail in my stressful state I thought you represented Vitahar clearly you don’t. Why can’t we have a Facebook and Twitter campaign to bring this company to book .

    • I have just ordered these and found out all of this i have rang my bank to see what they can do and there putting on a block so they cant take any further money but im still really worried. Has anyone had any luck contacting brivon to cancel the order i am going to try first thing in the morning?

      • They took money from me 3 days before Christmas in 2014. I like everyone else fell for it too. I was beside myself spent hours on the phone screaming at them and they refunded me 50% but no more so got about 95.00 back for both products. I have just checked my emails today and they have sent me an email they are sending my 3rd batch. I have only ever received 1 which was the first one its useless. I’m now terrified they are going to take money again although I have put a block on them through my bank if they try.
I as everyone else did cannot believe I got suckered in I was gutted. They are a huge con and I cannot believe that they have not been taken down by trading standards or arrested for fraud.

        • Hi, could you please send me their email address. I can not get through on their contact number and I would like to cancel. Thank you

      • I I have been had by these people 4 months after I sent the product back other took the money out of my bank . The product was sent back the next day , but you send it from post office you don’t put the price on it as you only paid the postage that was £2.99 so you don’t think about the price and the post office only covers you to the sum of £20

  2. This is a big time scam. They deliberately delay dispatch so that you receive the product after the cancellation period. They overcharge for postage and they fraudulently take money from your account. Avoid at all costs.

  3. I use this product, It arrived within less than a week from my initial ordering date and customer service was very friendly, I have experienced a good 1.5 inches of hair growth in a month, a lot of my thickness in the crown is filling back in and I have less grays. The product is working very well, I use the Brivon Hair Lotion daily on my scalp as well as taking the Vitahar capsules. I lost a bunch of hair from chronic stress/adrenal fatigue and this stuff is giving my my confidence back. I’m sorry to hear so many people are having bad experiences with this company, because my dealings with them have been very pleasant and I do not feel scammed, the price may be steep but I can’t put a price on my self image!.

  4. I ordered my “Free Trial” on Sunday 1st Feb and received Friday 6th Feb. I have just managed to get hold of them today (9th Feb) and received my RMA number to send back to them, They assured me that no money would be taken from my account, I accused them of mis-selling but she said its all in the terms and conditions, I said that you don’t expect to read a whole load of garbage for a free trial, also, they must expect people not to read the letter and then get landed with the first £90 payment. Genuine or not!!! I have no idea but a free trail is a free trial is a free trial………I never get sucked into these things but I must have had a mad moment that day as I was rubbing my bald head…..Never again.

  5. I was robbed by these people .I made 2 payments of 3.98 on 23/2/15
this was advertised as a trial offer. at no point was there any indication of future payments to be made . on the 10/2/15 I saw 4 more transactions 2 for 99p and 2 for 94.98 at no time would i have ever spent 200 pounds on untried cosmetics. when i phoned them up they claimed i had missed 14 day return date. the parcel had not arrived until some time after the 6/2/15 when i happened to be away for a few days.when I refused to accept the paltry offer of a discount and demanded a return number and a full refund they hung up on me. please don’t deal with these people they are fraudulently misleading in their very dubious sales practices. unfortunately Decent online traders will suffer because of them. I will be very reluctant to buy online again

    • Please can you give me their phone number so that I can try to call them to get my money back – thanks in advance. They keep ringing with anonymous number so I can find

  8. I have just recently purchased this and realise it was a scam within the last hour what would be the best solution!? If I cancel? Will they stop my order and not process it for shipping. Is it best I just cancel my card right away to avoid them taking money?? Help please!!

    • Hey, the best thing you can do is consult your bank straight away! Get all payments stopped from them, they will be able to advise on the best thing for you to do.

  9. I’m going around all of the hair forums to warn people that Vitahar/Brivon have changed their company bank details. So if like me, you put a stop on your card, they can still gain access via Visa, they can still do this even if you have changed your Visa debit card. The new company details will appear in your account as CELL X, this is proceeded by their phone number. They are scam artists. Call your bank and block this company too.

  10. I sent back the Bootle by return of post the same day with a letter saying I considered it a con

  11. If it helps you can find both products on ebay now and then. Sorry to here about all the people who’ve been scammed, but its pretty much normal especially when they say “free trail pay for postage” they do it with almost every health supplements whether it be hair loss or steroids.. always best to look up the product and do your homework. But has anyone actually used this product to see if it actually works? ?

  12. I am still amazed that the celebrities who endorse products that are total scams allow this to happen and allow their names to be tagged to the said products. It really does not give anybody confidence in marketing or the morality these days.

  13. Just realised today that the Brivon hair growth lotion has taken money from my account for £94.98 and all is not what it seems!!! Whoever may want to order this, please do not. Block your bank account, I did today.

  14. These cunts are a fucking bunch of thieving cunts its a shame they don’t have a shop near me would be interested to hear the salesmans patter the thieving cunts

  15. Wow im so glad this articl was here i was nearlly lulled into going in head first, People like this need beating with a stick and jailed from now on anything that want bank details is getting looked into,
One again thanks for this article 🙂

  16. Please can someone provide their email address because they took my money and it is scam

  17. this scam is similar to that of DERMA JUVENATE, a supposedly wrinkle reducing serum, advertised in the internet, Yahoo site. the scheme is similar to Vitahar & Brivon. I gave DERMA JUVENATE my credit card to charge for shipping only, but charged me $93 for a small 1 oz. tube. I tried to contact and cancel it, but my MBNA credit card was charged twice. I told my credit card company that I am disputing the charges but they were not to refund my money. BEWARE OF THIS SCAM, once they have your credit card you will not be able to get your money back. whether it VITAHAR, BRIVON or in my case, DERMA JUVENATE, these are scam. Is there any way, we can file charges against these scammers ?

  18. It’s very strange to that I booked trail packs but you charged me the full price. This is cheeting and non professional attitude. Please refund my payment. I have ur emails of trail pack order

  19. This Brivon company is a scam and have ended up taking £94.99 out of my bank account which they have said is because I exceeded the 14 day trial which was not clearly stated to me. I am so appalled and disgusted that they can get away with this and the only thing they could do was stop the direct debit going out every month. If you see that Brivon have taken this amount out of your bank account make sure you contact your bank so they can stop them from continuing a standard order. If you are looking at this page for research before you buy the product. I would suggest DO NOT buy this product. It isn’t even worth the p+p.

    • they done that same to me is well, I called them an ask for the refund, did any one get refund from them???

  20. I’m so pissed I order this product about a month ago not realizing till
Today that it was a scam I never heard anything cause I thought I had done my homework. I’m now out $129.31 in my bank! I want my money back and I know I won’t see it! I can’t believe this I’m so upset and I feel so stupid!

  21. I too took up the offer to pay the shipping and donation trial offer for Brivon and Vitahar which was via an advert on a reputable Britain’s Got Talent website which now going back into this same website is now not there. My order for Brivon went through but the one for Vitahar did not and instead kept redirecting me. My order for Brivon only went through after my credit card was thrice declined asking me to submit a different one. As it did not take American Express which is the only other one I have and being a chartered accountant there was no way I was going to give my debit card detail. Instead still believing all was okay I put Vitahar into Google and saw this webpage with all the experiences shown which people had experienced. I immediately contacted my credit card company who told me the small payment of £3.98 (£2.99 shipping plus £0.99 WWF donation) had gone through. Explaining all to my credit card company, I had the credit card I had used cancelled on-the-spot to stop any other transactions being put through from this organisation and had a new credit card issued. .I hope this helps others regarding what to do and how to do it when this type of scam occurs.

  22. Just as a warning to everyone who has ordered from them and bank has blocked anymore money coming out… They are now taking money out under a new name… They took £94.99 out of my account earlier today. Currently trying to get my money back through the bank!!
Cancel your card if you can and get a new one!!

    • This happened to my daughter too. If anyone has ordered then cancel your card and get a new one. Otherwise they will take money again under a different company name.

  23. It’s the same with weight loss garcina tablets free trial but they take money from account before receiving free trial bottles
They are all scams and should be stopped

  24. I too have been ripped off by Vitahar. I placed an order back in December of last year but then realised the product was too good to be true and cancelled the order. Yesterday a package arrived which contained yet another bottle of these pills, I emailed the company who then said that I had actually placed TWO orders! I do not recall placing two orders for the same thing and even after cancelling the first one they continue to send the pills and bill me. I would of thought it obvious that by cancelling an order all subsequent orders would also be cancelled. I do not understand how they cannot send me a refund as they seem to be quick enough to take money from my account. Vitahar is a total rip off, I should also add that Vitahar failed to tell me that there was this other order at the time of cancelling the first one and sent me another bill for £94.00!!

  25. I ordered brivon last year and cancelled it. Now in May 2015 I get an email saying I re ordered it, which I never. It needs to be cancelled now!

    • Hi Chloe, I am trying to cancel this order and have tried calling the 1800 602 290 number they have provided but no one will answer, apart from some rude person on a voice machine. Could you tell me how you managed to cancel you order please?

      • I have been on the phone today you can’t cancel as they give you an email address that doesn’t work I spoke to Alexandra 05 no help what so ever did what he said sent proof of postage but when they send you ticket no you can’t get back to them

  26. Brivon for hair loss is a complete scam.
Not only it does not work, they lie and take money out of your card without you knowing and they should’nt.

  27. I just fell for this scam myself. Called and had a stop pymt done. Won’t fall for that again

  28. I fell for the scam. However, I luckily read the terms and conditions AFTER putting all my payment info in for the order… so I called my bank and had the card cancelled.
That being said, I still got the “free sample” which is the lotion….
My question is, does it work at all? Even just a little?! Guess it’s worth a try, but as others were saying – there’s no feedback on the product other than what’s on their website !

  29. I got the free tril and so far the only money that came out of my acct was the shipping fee for the tril ,, I already called back and cancelled it and I reach them right away and they gave me my RMA number so I can return the empty bottles and they assured me no more would come out of my acct ..

  30. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.

I paid the shipping and handling fees for my free trial, the trial said 30 day free trial, called them to cancel, they refused, they want me to pay, I’m not paying for the product and on top of it, there is no proof on the invoices that mine was in fact a 30 day trial! They now say I have to pay half the money, I’ll be cancelling my cards so they can’t get anything from me.

  31. I have been had by these people 4 months after I sent the product back other took the money out of my bank . The product was sent back the next day , but you send it from post office you don’t put the price on it as you only paid the postage that was £2.99 so you don’t think about the price and the post office only covers you to the sum of £20

  32. I made the mistake of applying for a ‘free’ sample of something in February to be advised, once the sample was on it’s way, that I would be charged £94 a month for the purchases I had made and was asked to call a number to obtain a cancellation reference number if I wanted to opt out. Needless to say the number was never answered so I had to cancel my credit card (Oh dear, I LOST it) to avoid the monthly fees.

3 weeks ago I received a warning letter from a Dutch debt collection agency warning of further legal action if I didn’t pay up £134 (Now obviously including an admin fee!)

This was my reply to them:

    The Netherlands

    Dear Sir / Madam,

Thank you for your letter dated 23-9-2015, the contents of which are duly noted and contested.

For your information, this is the first correspondence I have received so I dispute the assertion that your claim is ‘in reference to unpaid invoices you are well aware of’.

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 I cancelled any order I had with them and have received no further goods or had any further contact so I regard your clients claim as illegal and malicious.

I will not entertain any further demands for any monies to be paid and will challenge any right you seem to think you have to any such payment in court.

You will therefore receive no further contact from myself.

I expect any further correspondence from yourselves to be to simply advise me of the details of any such court order request so that I may appropriately challenge and contest your claim.

I also hereby expressly withdraw any permission you may imply that your employers (or any person contracted by them) may believe they have to enter the boundaries of my property. Any trespass by any such person will be challenged and further legal action considered.

Further legal action will also be considered by myself against yourselves if any further contact is outside the parameters specified.

    Regards
    Richard Delacour

This was the email I got back today:

    Dear Sir, dear Madam,

We confirm receipt of your reaction in regards to the claim of our customer.
Due to the nature of your dispute, our customer advised us to close the case.

    Kind regards,

    GGN

YAY!! – One up for the consumer. 🙂
Lesson learnt though, do your research first. The company has warning flags all over the internet for conning people in what they consider to be lawful transactions…….. Grrrrr!

  33. Hello Richard Delacour,I myself have been threatened with a warning email from GGN the other day saying I owe 7 Seas Int’l £177.18 ( including £34.70 collection fee) from Feb the 23rd 2015 with legal action if not paid within 7 days. Really anxious to know how you dealt with them. Will await your kind reply…thanks.-(Dan UK)

  34. Hi, i ordered free trial, they sent me one bottle of pills and one bottle of cream. At the same time they charged me £94 for something that i even hadn’t received yet. I call to cancel the recurring orders. They told me if i don’t return the FREE trial ones, they will charge me the full price of each of them. i told them i want to return, they gave RMA numbers but i have to pay for the shipment. i wonder if i don’t return THE FREE TRIALS, what would be? THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FREE TRIAL!!!!
