The stag do. Either a night that is talked about for years to come, or never mentioned again. Seriously, never again.
It can be a great opportunity to have a laugh with your mates, spend some time bonding with your new father-in-law and get to know your future wife’s family. So why not do something memorable? Instead of the typical beer, curry and bars (not that there’s anything wrong with that) make the most of this chance to try something new. There are tons of activities that you can choose from, so how about giving one of these a go?
Go-Karting
A classic stag do activity, and for good reason. What guy isn’t going to have fun racing around a track? This may be our only opportunity to feel like Lewis Hamilton, and we are going to make the most of it. A bit of healthy competition never did anyone harm, and we for one can’t wait to stand on that number 1 podium. Has anyone got any champagne?
Google Football
Everyone loves a kickabout, but why not try amping it up a notch? Take a look at Xtreme events to see their hilarious twist on the game. By wearing googles that seriously impair your vision, regular football becomes extremely funny. You will love watching your mates try, and fail at the simplest of passes.
Paintballing
What can be a better way to break the ice with the new in-laws than shooting pellets of paint at each other. If you have ever wanted to feel like a solider, than this is the game for you. You can either go for one game of all-out war, or make a day of it playing in a range of arenas. You can even get lunch and chill out in the basecamps between games of capture the flag!
Rock Climbing
Perfect the adrenaline junkie, you can choose from a ton of indoor and outdoor walls to climb. If you do go outdoors, you also get the benefit of some amazing views as you abseil down. Be warned though, what comes up, must come down, so if anyone in your group has a fear of heights, this may not be the best activity.
Quad-biking
If your stag party has decided to venture abroad (we’re guessing Magaluf, Ayia Napa type resorts) then a great activity to do is quad biking. It’s great fun and gives you a chance to see somewhere other than the strip or your hotel bed.
White Water Rafting
Definitely not for the faint hearted, white-water rafting is a once in a lifetime experience. Lots of people talk about the rush of adrenaline it gives, and can only say how amazing it was afterwards. It is sure to make your stag do a memorable one.
Race Car Driving
A little more pricey, and better suited to small groups, but you get the opportunity to drive a real race car around the track. Reaching speeds of up to 175mph, it’s something of a rush. Now the only question is Ferrari or Aston Martin?
It’s A Knockout
The ultimate obstacle course, they have now recreated the classic game so that you and all your friends can take it on. Think you’re tough enough to complete it? Give it or go, or have a great time trying anyway.
