Ultimate Wearable Gadgets For Any Kind Of Man In 2016

It’s 2016, and it’s a wonderful time to be alive. Technology has expanded to the point where our whole lives can be controlled from a smartphone. Seriously, I can even adjust the heating in my house with this thing. They’re awesome tools for keeping up-to-date with everything life throws at you, and that’s an invaluable asset.

That being said, smartphones can just as easily be a pain. They’re easy to lose and scrambling for it in your pocket every five minutes is annoying. That may sound lazy of me, but I’m sure I’m not alone out there!

So, wearable is the way to go. From gaming to fitness to entertainment, strapping it on your person is the new ‘thing’ in 2016, and here are your must-haves, for any guy.

Head-Mounted Computers

The Google Glass launched a few years ago to a largely mixed reception. 2016 will change all that however, with the launch of the Glass 2 expected to be November. But, what exactly is it?

It’s basically a headset, or a fancy pair of glasses, that can act as a pseudo-computer. Users can communicate with the Internet using voice commands to do things like search Google or check the weather. It’s an awesome gadget for those looking for a more portable PC; the Glass 2 can fold up and be taken anywhere.

So, if your laptop is chugging and your desktop sucks, it may be time to upgrade in 2016. Just be sure not to wear the Google Glass in a movie theatre.

World On Your Wrist

Smartwatches really only became a thing last year with the Apple Watch, and in 2016 they’ll be bigger than ever. The benefits are numerous, and include being able to take calls and pay for items at shops with a few taps of the screen. Sure beats drawing your phone out of your pocket!

The Apple Watch 2 is set to launch this year, and it joins a whole host of other products from Samsung, Sony and Pebble. Additional uses include the ability to control the music on your phone via your smartwatch, and having a whole world map built on your wrist.

They can improve your life in many ways, and will be an incredible long-term investment. If you’re looking for a quick-buy, you can purchase a smartwatch from this site. Remember, just as with any other expensive tech, look after it properly!

Virtual Reality

Real life can be a pain sometimes, but luckily, you don’t have to endure it every day. If going to the gym is proving too arduous or your taxes are a pain, look no further. There are a ton of VR headsets that can improve your leisure time no-end, and they should be on your list in 2016.

PS4 owners should be looking at PlayStation VR, which will allow you to play your games in a more cinematic way. You get a free game with it and there are over 200 in development! If you own a PC, then the Oculus Rift is one to watch, which affords you the capability to experience your entire Steam library in full VR. If you want to, you could even watch movies in virtual reality for the ultimate theatre experience.
