The beachbody is that perfect mixture of definition and muscle. It’s going to take a good deal of work to get there. That includes the diet. Get prepared to cut down on those simple carbs and load up on the protein powders. Calorie counting is important, to make enough of a deficit to burn fat. But so is nutrition. Whole fruit is always recommended after a workout. Smoothies also work.

The Cardio

The number one stop for anyone trying to get into an exercise regime is making sure their heart can handle the pressure. Cardio is also about getting oxygen around your body to fuel it. Running is the go-to cardio exercise, but not the only one. There are other methods, like rowing machines, cycling and plyometric. These exercises even help with weight loss as well the next point.


The Muscle

A beach body isn’t quite as impressive without the muscle tone to go with it. Unlike shedding points, how you gain muscle is incredibly localized. You don’t necessarily have to get bulky, either. There are exercises you can just as easily do to get more toned without getting bigger. This includes the usual kind of bodyweight exercises like squats and push-ups. Just make sure you give enough time to the individual sections of your body.

Your Environment

You want to stay motivated during your fight for a better body. That environment you work out in plays a big role in that. Not everyone has a gym nearby that’s ready to be supportive, welcoming and non-judgmental. It’s a good thing there are plenty of exercises you can do outside. Find the best environment and the best company to exercise with. It will do a lot for your staying power.
