ClarinsMen Revitalising Gel Product Review

This week my bottle of ClarinsMen Revitalising Gel ran out, so I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to give you guys my honest opinion of the moisturising gel and let you know how my skin benefited from using it.

Clarins Men Revitalizing Gel
Clarins Men Revitalizing Gel

Top line summary is that I thoroughly recommend this product. It’s a no nonsense approach to male skincare, the perfect product for us men – none likes faff right?! You can apply the gel and walk out the door knowing that your skin is getting exactly what it needs.

Perfect For Oily Skin

Unfortunately, a lot of us men suffer from naturally oily skin – due to a mixture of different factors such as skin thickness, hygiene and genetics. As I’ve discussed many times on the site, oily skin can lead to spots and black-heads and many skincare products to make skin oiler instead of helping to solve the problem. This is why it’s so important to use the correct skincare products – unless you enjoy looking like a dartboard?

ClarinsMen Revitalising Gel is the perfect partner for men with naturally oily skin. It has an matte-like finish due to the action of the tapioca powder, making it perfect for oily skin or combination skin. If you’ve struggled with blackheads like me, then you will notice the positive effects changing your moisturiser to this revitalising gel will have on your blackheads.

New Energy

So what makes the gel Revitalising? The gel contains Ginseng and Gojiberry which give the skin surface ‘new energy’ and enhances the skins natural resistance.

The gel is now my product of choice for an everyday moisturiser but particularly after a morning gym session. Most moisturisers can just ‘fall’ of your face after a morning gym session, due to increased body temperature (makes you look and feel like you’re sweating). This product is perfect because its easily absorbed and minimises natural oil and sweat production.
