Ace Ideas For Sports Holidays You Won’t Want To Miss

If you fancy doing something different this summer, why not try a sports holiday? That way you can forget about relaxing and use your vacation to get fit. Or, just have a lot of fun and excitement packed into two weeks. There are plenty of sports holidays to choose from, whether you prefer light activity to extreme action and danger. We’ve got you covered, and we’re sure you’re going to love at least one of these ideas.

Tee Off Morning, Night And Day

One possibility is a golf holiday. If you love swinging that club and aiming for a birdie or better a golf holiday could be a brilliant choice. You can get stay and play golf packages that are great because they include everything. You’ll be able to find the perfect hotel, close to the green on the course you want to play. Or, you can book hotels near multiple courses. Be sure to check out where the best golf courses in the world are. Be warned, though, many do require membership to play there. That said, they do tend to make exceptions for people who have traveled hundred of miles to play there!

Expedition Everest

A guy who lost both his legs has successfully climbed to the summit of Everest. At this point, you should be asking, what’s your excuse? If you’ve never really had an adventure holiday, this probably isn’t the best way to get started. Climbing everest is not for the inexperienced climbers. You’ll need to take a shot at some smaller climbs first. But, you can head to the base camp and explore the area around Everest. This is still challenging work and to be honest, very few people actually make it to the top. Mainly because you need oxygen tanks to even breathe up there. Still, mountain climbing is a great adventure and, if you don’t like the idea of frostbite, choose a sunny climate.

Surfing And Scuba Diving

Speaking of sunnier climates, you may want to spend a couple of weeks surfing the sunny shores or diving into the deepest oceans. Both are cool activities that are a lot harder than most people realize. For scuba diving, it’s easy to panic once you realize you are hundreds of meters below water. If anything goes wrong, well you might be in trouble. Surfing meanwhile poses the challenge of just keeping balance on the darn board. That’s not to say you won’t have fun. You definitely will, and we might suggest the sunny coasts of Australia for these activities. Nothing beats the great ocean waves in this corner of the world.

Cycling In Europe

Or how about getting on your bike, literally. Head to Europe and bike across some of the best roads in the world. You’ll see some tremendous sites, stop off at fantastic locations and have a wonderful time. Don’t forget to train though because some of the roads aren’t for people with poor stamina.

Do any of these sports holidays suit your fancy? Maybe you can invite all the guys and have a boys week filled fun and adventure.
